Pomona Valley Dental Assistants Society is the local component of the CDAA and ADAA, which is the professional organization for dental assisting.

If you are a dental assistant, RDA, RDAEF – whether front office, chairside or educator, you can join PVDAS/CDAA/ADAA!  Receive benefits, discounts, opportunities to attend state/national events and more.

CDAA held their annual member's meeting during the Educational Conference in April, 2024.  CDA President Carliza Marcos joined us for the meeting - and for champagne & chocolate at the party.  PVDAS received the award for the largest local in CDAA!! PVDAS member Mercedes Hermosillo was recognized for achieving Life Membership this past year.

Elections were held electronically this year. The CDAA Officers for 24-25 are:

     President: Christy Burton

     1st VP: Linda Willyerd

     2nd VP: Wendy Pio

     Secretary: Kelly Thomas

The Education Conference was a great success, with 13 CE offered during the two day conference. Great location (right on the San Francisco Bay), great food and time for learning and socializing. It will be held in SoCal next year April 25-26, 2025, so mark your calendar now!

CDAA's next Board of Directors meeting will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 via zoom.. All are welcome -  just  just let me know  and I'll send you the info!
